need new tryes for my car, they have toyo t1r's on the min and are 50mm profile, would it make any difference to the ride if i put 45mm profile tyres on?

will be a worse ride with 45's on and they cost more.

The ride will be harsher because the ratio of tread to sidewall is lower so you loose some of ride comfort. 195/50's tend to be cheaper than 195/45's too.
