should've 16v'd it...

I'd remove bonnet pins and put the rear of the bonnet back to normal... I know the reason why you've raised it - but i always think it looks shit and it'd definately put me off.

Put it on pistonheads, but also pistonheads track day / road legal section (under motorsport)

2.5k? for a 16 year old 106?

I'm guessing you must have a pretty good spec on it..

to be fair it'd cost more to get it to that spec... So if you're looking for a track car / sprint car - it's perfect and already sorted.

LSD = £600 ish
Cage = £350 + £200-£300 fitting it
Seats = £300
Suspension = £200
etc

Baring in mind rallyes are rarer so tend to fetch more than other models of 106. Its weird even at this time a standard S1 on 120k just sold on rallye register for 2k. Might take me a while to find the right buyer but its worth it.

unfortunately he may have to...

A lot of cars on 106owners are being split for parts as car's just arn't worth the money.

It's like buy a 172 cup for £3.500 or buy a tatty 106 with mods for £2500

easier to sell the expensive shit - get £1500 for those parts and then sell the car for £1500 = £3000
