you should save up and do it though gavin. maybe costly but if you plan to keep it a few years, faster is always better.

400 bhp like fuck.
if you removed the stickers and stuff it'd be alright, but probably more like 240-280 bhp max.

And naturally you supercharge civic's weekly? and have one of the latest dyno's on your drive.

depends if it has a buddy club earthing kit fitted though gavin. if it does, easy see 400-600bhp
And the little wooly jacket things that go on the brake and P/S fluid reservoirs give very good gains too so i hear.

300bhp with the standard kit and I cant see anything extra on there that would give it 100bhp, what management does it run?
400bhp seems a little suspect to me, would def like to see dyno prints!

In those links they are saying you need some kind of fully mappable ECU like the hondata K-pro
I assume thats what the car thats for sale has

It would seem that the turbo conversions on these give better power but the superchargers are more suited to the high revving nature
I prefer the supercharger wine
Might just be biased as I have been out in a supercharged one and loved it

It wouldn't be.
He's admitted that the peak torque is 220 lb ft.
Now it's rare to have peak torque at max rpm (don't get confused with peak power, which often on tuned cars is at max rpm).
However ... Let's assume - that the car made that 220 lb ft @ 9000 rpm.
if you do the maths on it, you get 376 peak bhp... (9000 rpm * 220 / 5252).
that's not 400 ...
However, it's very doubtful it'll be making that 220 lb ft of peak torque at 9000 rpm, it's more likely to be making that peak torque maybe around the 6000-7000 rpm mark.
at 7000 rpm IF the torque was 220 lb ft you'd be getting 293 bhp.
at the end of the day, it's unlikely it's 400 bhp and to be honest, I personally wouldn't want 400 bhp through the front wheels with no LSD! it'd be shit to drive.
More likely 280-300 ish if you're lucky...
