Hi all,

I fitted -60mm Nova springs on my C at the weekend, which has been done before btw, it was fine before I fitted them..

Took it out and was fine around town, when I opened it up though, I could feel a slight vibration through the N/S front.

Never thought much of it but it got worse.. Now even around town you can feel it.. Feels like wheel balancing is out but it isn't as I tried on my spare.

Also, it only does it when accelerating.. (stops when u let off to change gear.)

Wondering if anyone else had same problem when lowering and solutions etc??

Cheers Carl..

Sorry but fitting the wrong springs to a car is never going to be a good move is it? Regardless of it being tried before.

thought it might of been tracking but thoughy against as I just had tracking done before I knew I was gonna put these on and only took standard shocks off, changed springs and fitted back on... Didn't think it would alter tracking..

And yes I suppose it isn't a good idea but got them off a mate who had them on his C for 6 months with no problems... They were originally to put me on until I can afford coilovers but may take them back off..??

Any ideas anyone??

Carl..

Have you actually checked the wheel bolts, or are you just thinking that they are thight, because you did them up like that when you put the wheel back on?

Whenever you remove a wheel, it ALWAYS is suggested to check the wheel bolts again after 50 miles.

Ok, I might get tracking redone at weekend and see if that helps...

and no mate my wheels are tight, I've had them off to try and find the problem, then put back on and it's still the same..
