Hi everyone just been offered another car and i am unsure whether to buy it or not so here goes. This is everything i knowa bout the car
Its a 52REG Corsa C 1.7 DI ( Diesel) with 129,000 on clock
It had its cambelt done at 115k ( Receipt to prove) and just been put through an MOT last week which it failed on 2 snapped springs and hazards lights switch. The car has no other service history, but the woman whos selling it let me and my friend take it out on our own and do what we want to it basically. I couldn’t find any fault other than damp carpet in passenger foot well, and hazard light switch is broke again. I am just stuck because of the lack of history, does anyone have any experience with these 1.7 Diesel Vauxhall engines and can advise me how good they are?
I got her down to 1300 pound on it
Thanks

Wouldn't touch it with a bargepole.
There will be plenty of people along soon to agree with the 500k miles though.

How big is your backbox?
I would buy it tbh. Work on knocking down abit more. Job done. You should be able to tell if the cars been looked after by the respone and noise from the engine and other parts. History doesnt bother me tbh ( dont buy expensive cars)
