...something for my dad.
Getting rid of the ST24, and probably just gonna trade it in.
He's looking for something quickish, interesting, relatively new.
Insurance is not a problem.
Can be a 2/4/5 door.
Nothing girly and nothing too small cos he's 6ft.
The first few things that came to his head was a 3.0 V6 Mondeo (not nessesarily an ST220), or a Mk5 GTi (althought he thinks these are too common.
I reckon a budget of around £8k ish.
Lets see what ya got...

I reckon that amg merc might be a bit old mannish for my dad.
Okay, he is an old man, but he's young at heart
330 isn't a bad idea.
Keep 'em coming guys...

Already got a diesel. Got a C4 VTS, but not impressed with it.
Rather go for the full blown 3.0 Zetec, or the ST200.
Anyone here had a Mk4 R32?

Sorry, S4 - either a 2.7 bi turbo avant/saloon or an 03 onwards V8.
as for M5 : http://www.pistonheads.com/sales/898287.htm

I like the idea of an S4, and monaro.
Evos are fairly expensive to run, and it'd more than likely upset my brother

I mentioned the monaro to him, and he said he liked them, but he already has one car that does about 12mpg and by the looks of it, another one on order, so he's not too keen on getting a third fuel guzzler.
A little pricey to begin with too.

what about the audi a3 3.2? r32 in an audi suit and yes they are now going for 8k, and under!
mondeo st220 would be a very nice choice so long as he isnt too worried about how much it will lose in value
