1.8 16v Clio's? i want something pretty much as quick as a vts/gti withought actually getting one, but not going too expensive, i like the look of these and they arent common. Anyone on here have/had one? What too look out for?

there failry quick, but soo unlreliable.
mate has nothing but trouble with his.
gearboxes are shit also

3 of my mates are renault nuts, they have all had plenty of clio valvers and the common problems are gearboxes letting go, leaky sunroofs and rusty rear arches. electrics are a bit hit and miss too and the driving position can only be described as terrible.
if you can get a good one for under a grand its probably worth a look, but vts/gti ar appearing under the 1k mark now too and are an all round superior car.

thats true, yeah but dont all older cars have thier problems tbf? yeah i know the vts's/gti/s arent all that expensive, but far too common. hense why i would rather the valver, rarely do i see them

its just a clio mate, you see clios everyday albeit not always an rsi.
Some older cars are plagued with more problems than others. the clio rsi is one of those cars that once riddled are best scrapped.

whats an rsi then? i thought they were all 1.8 16v?
