Is that April Adam? Combe is April 25th.
And I don't think an hour will make a difference when you've already come so far

I think one of the big problems last year, were people came on after combe and there was nothing planned for a future event.
all great in theory paul
but will has issues getting £12 off people
£170 for a trackday takes some convincing

But jr, if that's the point of your website and it's not working - then maybe if it's not possible, the whole idea should be canned.

Yup.... it is hard to try and get anyone from Scotland section to do anything other than sit in their cars in car park :/ Obv all not like that, but its hard work to sort anything out. I've tried to organise a trackday for them...... get complaints its too expensive.
Thats always going to be an issue if its kept loosly ascociated with CS i'm afraid.
The site just needs to have people posting on it, linking to it to get new folk looking etc etc. A few small events next year to get the ball rolling.
Are there any smaller tracks that Weekend Racer can lease directly? Airfields etc
We (TrackScotland) currently rent out the whole of KH just for our trackdays. We arent cheap, but we tend to keep numbers down, and car/driver standard high (mostly!!! ) We're talking about 4.5k for a 4hr session on a sat in winter! Not cheap.
Sprints? They are a good way of getting a club doing something!! Hire out a sprint track and do some primative timing to introduce a bit of friendly competition. HillClimbs?

Getting the money out of people is difficult but I would consider the solution is make paying easier, not stop trying.

I browse now and again but it is just like browsing another section of CS, except with less replies and more users using no avatar/signature. In fairness, people without a Corsa should move over to it and leave this as a Corsa forum because a large percentage on here don't have Corsa's any more...
