Anyone know anyone who's fitted a C2 Turbo kit to there Gen 7 Celica vvti?
the kits are left hand drive so a little modding is needed but they seem to give good gains. I'm really considering bolting a turbo to my celica, internals are safe till about 12psi apparently. i'll be running mine at 9-10psi tho to be safe.
anyone with any experience in turbo'ing n/a cars?

theres a couple charged ones around here. one made a really daft noise
and the supercharger whine would do ma head in i rekon.
and there wont be much lag, its a small turbo so wont take long to spool up.
im used to waiting till 5500 revs till the thing moves anyway

that whatever the kit costs, double it, you'll need that to do it reliably.

not really, once the kits fitted thats it really, i've already got better clutch so that wont go.
only other costs will be the fabrication of new IC pipes and paying chris to set up my E manage. alot of things were changed at last mot ie. ball joints etc so there not old so shouldnt die too soon.
I cant see many things going wrong once the kit is in.

Superchargers lag too y'know! Just in a different way! Power is more progressive from a s/charger, thats all!
Prefer turbo's myself!
