Right im in a bit of a predicament and wanted some opinons from people. Im currently building a 1.6 sport project and i was planning on keeping the car for at least 3 years but ive been thinking and as the last corsa i will probably ever own id love a LET GSI in mint condition.

The problem i have is that a family friend of mine has helped me with the car and we have put loads of time and effort into it and also alot of money. When the car is gona be sold im gona try and strip the parts of value such as softstars irmy bits ice etc etc.

The problem is what do i tell the guy as hes a x mechanic and if i say theres a problem he will want to fix it and if i say im bored of the car he's likely to fall out with me as we've both dedicated alot of time and effort to the car!

So reading this what would you do considering the car will need to be stripped to claim some cash back

Are you gay? in 3 years time a corsa b isnt going to be worth anything at all, unless its a gsi - in which case hold onto it for another 10 years untill it hits retro status and goes up in value.

if your going to sell the sport and he has a fannywank about it, give him half the money. Any mechanic knows a car wont be kept for life
