30k signums weren't even worth 8k as soon as they had driven off the forecourt were they.

Hell of a lot of car for the money though. Only 7 to choose from on Pistonheads and others weren't anything special

Hmmm they aint special and for 8.5k I would want to buy something that wont be worth 3p in a couple of years time. The signum is just an impractical 4 seater which Vauxhall severly cocked up by bringing to the market.
Stick with a 530d or a C220 CDi

an st220 wouldn't be a luxury cruise imo as it has stiffened suspension and isn't as refined as bmw, merc etc.

my brother picked up a 53 plate, 40k full history, unmarked exterior and interior, all usual GSi refinements, half leather, cruise, climate, 4 disc headunit, xenons etc....
for 4k
and if driven right there not as thirsty as you think, can see over 30MPG when on a run.

It looks worse than what it is. They are not "that" bad. Trust me on that one. There are some ones that a really orange. They are bad though.
