Just got back after a spin in my mates as I am considering getting one soon depending on my financial situation at end of March.

Awesome little cars. His is a Black W reg with 75k on the clock and he only paid £1500 for it a couple of month back.

Nippy little motors. The whole build quality thing doesn't bother me as I had a 1.5 diesel 106 and it was fine. Defo want a VTS now

Not a bad price, my mate got his at bargain price, got it about 8 month ago, Y plate, 42k, cammed, air filter, slammed to floor, show cage, 2 bucket seats, stainless exhaust on a 2001 Y plate, paid £1600 for it.

For the money they are quick and fun but they also have some problems like any car.

Fuel regulators, fuel pump and the gearboxes are well know for going bang also.
I think there is a few other problems that are quite common with them.

You're right they're very nippy but when you start playing with suspension you will be very concerned about the build quality because it'll fall apart.
