those vids are very old though its not as simple to get grip anymore. that was just on a std kkk turbo.

my corsa is running 205s and they only rub after big dips etc with non-et49 wheels lowered 40mm

r888's have a very square sidewall so they catch on the arch as it is. if car was 10mm higher might be better, but id struggle to get 205's on.

Nic, could u now get two wheels with wider tyres just for strip runs? surely that would show what car is capable of and improve the 1/4 time?

well yeah eck, but id rather race it the same as it is when i drive it to work. makes more sense to me as its a road car.

Fair point, would be good to put them on for just a few runs tho to see what the cars capable of under great traction

well aye, but its still just a regular road car though. plus the competition i want to qualify for is all about road legal cars in road legal form.
