Bought this about a month ago but was only delivered yesterday. Its a 58 plate with 111 miles on the clock; spec'd it up with what i thought it had on and came to just over £14K; but when it arrived turned out it had virtually every extra and was nearer £16.5K

Cat D'd within 6 days
Pics from the salvage yard

And one of it home (was loosing light and camera phone!)

Think before i start on the mini tho the porsche needs washing

Got all the parts for the mini arriving today; no chasis damage so should be just bolt off, change the rad's, get the ECU re-programmed for the airbags, bolt on and send off for a respray

that was only Cat D. Good job there is no structural damage though. I guess you'll see a tidy little profit

Not sure; my dad has a driving school which he has mini's for at the moment so he may have it; or might let my GF have it as she wants a new car.

Basically a new car for half price, the BMW warranty is also still valid

Bodywork/paint wont be unless you use an BMW aprove body shop though.

Still bloody good what a bargain!

Yeah i guess so but not something you are likely to claim on i guess; using genuine BMW parts tho so they all will be.

Should be quite good fun putting it all back together tho

Probally written off due to being so new. Some insurance companies just get a new car if this sort of damage happens to a car less than a year old!
