What if any problems would occur if you used a set of alloy wheels with 45 offset on a vehicle with a 49 offset?

Daft question i know, but i genuinely dont know the answer.

Nothing unless you are really low. If you are really low then you could get some arch rubbing from the tyres.

as said its depends how low you want to go and what size the alloys are but close to ET45 -49 is best for corsa's but if you want to lower more than 60mm you may have to do a bit of arch work to stop rubbing if any

Mind you mine are 17's and are fine going slow with 2 or 3 in the car but when you are going fast with a full car and hitting pot holes etc it does rub, but other than that your fine
