A single bar of Meguiars Quik Clay? Or should you buy a new bar each time?
Just wondering before I buy a kit
Thanks

If you want to be a scavvy bastard, you could scissor it in half before use and get 2 uses from it.
If not, just the once.

can use it a few times, just keep folding it over.
people who use it once and throw it away are either wasting it or are using it on a really dirty car.

Once you've used it once you've got all the little bits of shit on it though, surely next time you're just scratching your paintwork?

If anything you will need more detailer before you will need clay

yes 2 clay bars, 1 detailer, and 1 microfibre cloth iirc
Edit: and the other one has a larger clay bar.

Search for Bilt Hamber clay, better than megs imo and only needs water as lube.

Personally im not a fan of Bilt Hamber, i tend to use either Sonus Green for a light clay, or Smart Clay for most others, ideally you should only use it once, otherwise your putting the paintwork at risk of scratches from previous contaminants in the paint from a previois car.

You can use it a few times depending on how dirty the car was.
I cut mine in half and am still using both bits, running it under warm water and stretching it out seems to clean it up a bit.
Some car shampoo in water is all you need for lubricant, no need to waste money buying detailer.

i used my 3/4 times, tbh if the car is washed properly then ther should be any harsh things left on the car, mainly tar etc etc
i went away from megs and now use chemical guys stuff
