hi all whats best for teh x14xe engine 1.4 16v is the standard airbox restricted? iv been told theres a restriction in it that you pull out and also drilled airbox? just wanting to know hwats best thanks lee

I think you have to remove a pipe inside the standard airbox to de-restrict it (although I'm not 100% sure on that) yea drill the airbox and get a panel filter

Panel filter definately, you elliminate the risk of heat soak as you would get with an open air filter i.e the Pipercross. I find its slightly better on fuel aswell.
