Off work today as i've been feeling a bit ill

Anyway, on my travels stopped at a local dealer. They have a 55 plate 1.9 Golf TDI there. Offered me it for £600 with my car in as part ex.

Golf, 55 Plate, 10 months MOT, 22k, 1 owner, no service history
Pug, 2007 with just under 29k, 1 owner, FSH

Not worried about the service history as i think it would be on a 20k interval anyway but there's no way to check mileage really. Body work is decent with the odd stone chip here and there. It has 5 doors and in black which i'm not too fussy on, been there done that.. Plus, it's a 55 plate and my car an 07.

Tough one. You know the history of your car and not the history of the other. It would have just had an MOT, so the mileage can only be verified by that one situation, therefore could have been clocked before the MOT.

tbh, I'd stick with the Pug.
