145 ish lb/ft

156bhp for 20xe, 150 for the c20xe due to the cat on the c20xe, hence the c.

Wrighty's right, if you want to achieve the standard bhp/torques or close too, your going to have to do a decent rebuild

Most standard XE's still make factory power even after all this time. Some even make MORE than factory.

Mine was on 90k. Full MOT's, full engine service history, came from a granny owned car.

Lee thought it was the smoothest XE he'd ever driven.

There are good engines out there, just look about.

I personally haven't ever seen 1 make less than standard power on the rollers.

Thats because 99.9% of rollers over-read, some by a little, some by stupid amounts only Fast Car readers would believe.

RR are just an indication of power. Really, every engine will be different.

Mine made 151.7bhp and 145lbs of torque last year, and that was before I replaced all the gaskets, belts and pumps.

Feels a lot smoother now

from my experiences they are really simple engines. They tend to work or like one component will fail like an AFM or an injector or they just explode They dont tend to just get tired and drop 30bhp.
