Fella never got back to me, went to see a different one that was described as Immaculate, and it was a dog. The hunt continues

I love how folk think you will just buy there car whatever condition its in when you get there. Been there a million times, thing is I usually buy them anyway as long as I get it cheap enough..

This car looked like it had been washed with a brillo pad, proper fucked me off as I wouldn't have come down if I'd known

But yeah I agree they obviously think I'll just had over 5k without looking at the car...

Depends whats wrong.

My old mans TL1000 had a scratch, and by that I mean a scratch!!! Like someone had taken a sewing needle and scrapped a 0.1mm wide hole about 3cm long.....

It was a write off, as the frame is "damaged" there fore needed replacing at the cost of thousands......

So he got some metal polish, 10 minutes later, said scratch is gone. Bought the bike back for tuppance, rode it for another 6 months, sold it on at a profit (but informed new buyer of situation, he was like "so they wrote off a perfectly fine bike, yup..... Sold!!!"
