Lovely mate, good to see there is still some in good condition, loads of 996's have been abused, don't mean to hijack your thread but didn't realise how much they have come down in price

Lol thats a strange find, the colour and the kit as that colour was only available for 4 months
That ones only the C2 tho
As for comparisons to the BMW, its quite a bit different; handles so much better and the BMW's handled very well!!! Get around 25MPG aswell so better than the m3

I was thinking about a Discovery 3 at the end of the year but the missus has just got a Range Rover Vogue as a company car.
I might well be tempted to look at these now instead

Love it
Youve inspired me to go & look at a couple, sadly the ones ive seen have been a bit rough in appearence & missing the GT3 kit so down in the looks dept.
I also been snooping around a couple of Porsche boards & read stories of services turning into 8k bills etc to get a car back to standard. Bit put off with that.
Im looking into 987 shape Boxsters now.

Hows the side boulsters in the drivers seat on yours? On the ones ive seen it looked like someone had been cleaning them with a sheet of 100 grit wet & dry

Do you find it a bit lacky in power?
Saw your comment about it being (link above) only a C2.
Think I'd prefer the C2 to be honet... not as lardy and docile... and of course the C2S over that
