i passed my test 1 year n abit ago can i drive abroad in my own car???

do i need to to be fully comp?

Yes i think you are allowed.

But you need to contact your insurance company where they will send you green card documentation. its free.. just a letter to say you can drive in other EU countries.

dont need to be fully comp, same laws in eu as her, must have third party cover at least. However if u have fully comp, they usually cover you aboard. if Third party you MAY need to pay a bit. You also must meet the minimum age required to drive in THAT country, i.e a 17year old with a full uk licence cannot drive in france (min age to drive being 18). As u been driving year n half u will be fine

Also need GB sticker or EU flash on licence plate with GB on it, not sure if overseas authoritys will accepct ENG, SCO, OR CMY

Make sure you take you high vis vest and spare bulbs etc
