It's all down to supply and demand Nik.

Uniquness plus rarety plus motorsport credentials plus hefty initial price plus lot of people wanting one lead to very high residuals.

A mint one owner RS 500 can now command more than it cost new for example.

I dearly wish they'd built more of all of the good Fords and for longer, then they'd be worth a lot less and be easier to obtain.

Oh and i'd never use one as a daily driver.

That'd be like using a Faberge egg as a lunch box.

Im mildly tickled by the idea of ecsos ownership, yet have it in my head id turn into one of these guys on PF that spend every penny keeping it on the road.

Eventually I will have the money to buy one and will do so.

Probably after I buy an RS2000 and an RS500 but before I buy an RS200.
