Search isnt being helpful.
Which polish could be used on a red astra that is slightly faded in places?
What do red people use?
without it being G3 etc.
Thanks for any help. Marc x

I used the Red T-cut on the old Flame Red work's van and it came up a treat all over. The roof was literally white before

Clay bar
Autoglym Polish
That's it for the finish on that picture.

If it's slightly faded, AutoGlym Super Resin Polish. If it's really bad, T-cut, then SPR, then a wax.
Wax after anyway, it will help protect the paint.

superb stuff. I have tried Meguiars stuff ('cause I like the branding ) and SPR is really good compared to their cutting type stuff.
Also, make sure it's in the shade/paint work isn't hot to touch, otherwise it doesn't seem to work. Follow the on pack instructions closely (apart from using AutoGlym shampoo as it makes no difference when bringing back colour) and you're onto a winner

Tbh when I had my red one I never experimented with many different products.
I used to use Autoglym super resin polish and some t-cut now and again and it was fine
Got a clay bar aswell and that helped

Dodo Juice Prime Lime to clean the paint, then Dodo Orange Crush wax. You'll never spend better money on a paint cleaner and wax than on these two. Works wonders on my flame red Vectra gsi.

It depends how faded / oxidised it is. Lime Prime is only mildly abrasive so won't cut back heavy fading. It will temporarily help with it's large amount of oils though. It's best to cut the paintwork back, then use the Lime Prime, followed by wax
