Ruthly how much it would be to get a 2.0 16v Red top engine converted into my Corsa 1.4 16v Sport.

I know the engines about £300-£500

Iirc, Beardy does it for around £1500, but dont know what that includes parts wise.

yes beardy charges around 1500.00
thats the engine supplied, brakes supplied, mounts,shafts etc supplied and all fitted
all you have to do is drive the car to him
check his garage .... BeArDy...He knows his stuff

I guess you would be paying a slight premium at £1500 HOWEVER you know it's being done by someone that knows what they're doing etc.

Yea im hoping to do mine this year but my corsa is in the early stages of being modded so im going to leave it to last so i can work on the body and interior before i put in the new engine.

Im not dissing Beardys work or that but imo £1500 is actually quite a lot compared to what people charge up here.
My mate does a drive in,drive out conversion for £750-£800.

It's like anything though. You're paying 'extra' for the convenience, simplicity and knowledge that it'll all work properly.
