ok have a x16xe just put in the car before xmas, when putting the speedo from the x14xe in i snaped a bit of it as it wouldnt go in the gearbox properly, so whent and got one from a 16xe and again it doesnt fit in the gearbox, fits in the old 14 gearbox and in my pals 2.5 v6 gearbox that he has on it
but not in mine
has any1 ever had this problem before and how do i find out what gearbox i have on the new engine???

lol here come the technical terms... the thing that goes into the gearbox which the speedo cable attaches to
abit like this but longer...
it just doesnt want to fit in my gearbox

just look at the code on the box mate e.g f10 f20 once you got that go and find a box in the brakers yard and take the speedo drive out or just got to vauxhall
