Currently looking to swap my mk4 astra for smaller car for the gf which is still a work in progress BUT when looking for a car for myself Ive noticed how cheap some cars really are, for example the vectra you can get a 02/52 reg for 2K going upto 3.5K for an 04 plate. is this happeneing with all cars or just certain one's?

Used car market is dead, if you have money to buy you're laughing. Vectra's have never really held their value very well either.

Seems the bigger the car the cheaper they are for what you get...
Small cars are still popular enough amongst tight arses to fetch reasonable money.

Although they're cheap your astra is worth less so it's swings and roundabouts unless you've got cash waiting to buy and no car to get rid of.
