I noticed the other day that my friends BMW doesnt actually have them




They arent in his mirrors. Is that legal?
And yeah his steering wheel is on the wrong side.

If the front repeaters are visible from the side it's legal to have no side repeaters iirc

On them cars, generally speaking, the side repeaters were in the bump strips. Still can't seem to see them. Weird.

I wouldn't have thought BMW made completely different panel parts just because it wasn't regulation in 1 country, but regulation in all others?!

might just have pattern wings.. i.e none gen..

Tbh though they're not needed. when was the last time you saw a bmw driver indicate?

Is it not like ford focus SVT's in america dont have the indicators in the wings whereas ones from the UK do

US spec Mk3 Golfs dont have side repeaters.

He has had the car a while, he bought it while he was over here IIRC, so would have had a mot by now.
