That and areodynamic removal.
Extra grip is only so good, if the cars removed the air in front of you, no extra grip will make up for no downforce.
Combined, plus the push to pass, 09 is going to be very interesting to start with.

I think the 09 cars look very dispraportionate. There is only 17 confirmed drivers for the entry of the 09 season, Torro Rosso still havent confirmed their second seat and Honda are still looking for a buyer

Poor Antony Davidson.
Had a good start to his F1 career, then the team went bust and heard nothing since.
Guy was in the butt end team doing better than Button was

Now i know looks have fuck all to do with anything, but i think it looks alot better than the f1 cars over the last couple of years. looks more like the 1s from the early 90s, or evan a f3 car

I feel the opposite tbh, I think they look more like watered down toy cars. The look serves a purpose though, and hopefully it'll be more exciting then it was last season
