Switching from PAYG to contract (still on o2), phoned them up earlier. Its gone through now, but both sims are saying inactive sim, how do I re-activate the contract sim?

It's not instant. Takes 24hrs iirc or something like that.

turn both phones off and then on again, the new phone should then work.
i did this, just took afew hours before the text messaging service worked

Ive been turning on and off for ages  when I did the same thing from a 2g sim to a 3g sim it was instant, saw the 2g go inactive, poped the 3g sim in and it was fine
