Tax Free - No idea.... Its mostly from crops though so I think it should be a hell of a lot cheaper!!!

Whats LPG now? 60p a litre or something??

Sean - It will give more power than petrol but its not quite as simple as just filling it up with it. Do a google search, or check wiki to read up about it.

LPG was 50-52p a litre last time I looked.

Would love to do an LPG conversion on Kirstys 106, cheap to run or what

so E85 is probably a bad idea in a standard car because the ecu is not pragrammed for it but E10 should be fine. interesting

you wont find E10 at pumps in the UK as far as I know.

Yup - E85 (un mixed) is a BAD IDEA on standard cars/Fuel Systems. Dont just fill your car up.

To run 'neat' E85 (15%petrol, 85%ethenol) you'd need steel fuel lines, maybe new tank... prob bigger pump and injectors etc

a guy i know is running his 200sx on E85.

on turbo cars there is a lot of power than can be gained cause you can advance the timing etc.

you MUST remap your car to run it.

he looked into it and its generally accepted that the fuel lines etc on modern cars are good to take it, but it is more corrosive than petrol...

he runs a 255l walbro and 740cc injectors last time i was talking to him.

we all reckon his car smells of vodka

there are not very many places as of yet to get the stuff.

It's probably a good investment to buy a field and grow the stuff just now I would say. Anyone know how much a field is?
