checked with dvla and they said its never been stolen or scrapped or owt like that.can i still get it mot'd?

Pre 97 the vin plate is on the slam panel.
Post 97 theyre on the drivers door/b post.

No they aren't Phil - my 98 and my sister 99 model both have them on the slam panel.

ah right,
my 98 1.2 8v and my 98 1.2 sxi had them on the b post.
But my pre 96 1.2 8v had it on the slam panel
I thought thats how it worked? lol

all corsas will have a vin plate on the slam panel no matter the year, but for some reson not all corsas come with the number stamped in the floor

They all have a plate on the slam panel
The newer ones just happen to have a sticker in the door pillar also

most of the ones ive seen have the plate on the slam panel, and platic tag on the dash but never seen a corsa b with a sticker on the door pillar

It might of falling off, as when we fitted my exhaust system last year, it fell off in my hands as the rivets that hold it on had rusted away.
