thinking about getting a corsa b ( because they seem fairly cheap )
so what price would i be paying for a 1997ish 90k miles 1.2 corsa
and is there any problems that i should look out for ?

Sub £1000 easily.
Rust.
Don't get a 1.2 8v as they're deathly slow, although insurance may now be an issue considering your Pug.
Just look out for the usual signs of any car etc.

thats why i want a 1.2 8v ...... betta than walking 
might be worth buying a 106 then if its gunna be a grand :/

a grand will get a a very good example if there is such a thing, you could get a very nice sxi with a grand although thats a 16v

ok as in, it will have rust and a short mot/tax and look a bit scruffy

By sub £1000 I meant don't pay anything more. You can get Corsa B's from about £100 to £2000.

£3-400 will get you a half tidy runabout with about 90,000+ miles
£6-800 will get you a clean example with about 60-70,000 miles and probably from a garage.

18, corsa sport 1.6 with 1 years no claims was £580 fully comp and i told then that i had lowered it

paid about £800 tpft when i was 17 on my 1st corsa 1.2 8v

Better than a Pug 106 or Saxo imho.
Just keep the engine as low as possible. 1.2 8v, 12v or 1.2 16v.

1.2 basic will do you for now, you can alway do an engine upgrade !! i have no problerms with mine
