Found the link, the way to sell it is lower it down to 3500ono and take 3200 for it.

Even less than 3200, i'd take 3k and run.

Lowering your expectations to a realistic level is a start, anything you get over 3k for it is a bonus imo.

Im telling you now, price the car accordingly. Don't overprice it as you wont get any realistic offers.

It took me two months to sell my car and I took the cash and ran - it was way below of what I wanted but sold a week before Christmas couldn't complain for the sake of £200

Buyers market chunk, and without knowing what car it is I would say there is 100's of others out there with something different to offer that would undercut your price.....

I'm telling you 4k isn't and by this thread it seems that everybody who's seen your car agrees, it's a 4 year old, 50k c2, have you not seen the state of the used car market atm?

Being realistic the car market is dead, I doubt you will get enough to clear any outstanding finance.

Im guessing you paid slightly over the odds anyway when you got it as it must of been from garage to be financed ?

yep i need like 4,300 bt it becoming obv i wont get that for it. but i need at least 3,700 for it then just to get close to that number

If you wont get what you need for it then just keep it & run it into the ground!?

I paid what 7k for my golf 14months ago, id be lucky to get half now, thank god I never had it on finance is all im saying!! I do have a loan on it but thankfully for less than the cars worth.

I think a lot of people will find themselves in the same situation as yourself when they try to sell up.

On the up side, the car you buy next will also have taken a massive drop.

Call it the credit crunch, call it karma, call it what you will - at the end of the day no ones going to pay over the odds for your car!!
