Just wondering what the best way is to fit them before I start fucking around and messing it up,

i got all the correct rivits and clips from vauxhall and fitted them the same way vauxhall fit them to the gsi

I think lots of people use Tiger seal?

sills will rot using tiger seal.. holds water. depends on how long you keep the car for.

depends on how you look after it pal.. mines my toy so i dont plan on getting rid. theres not one bit of rot on mine.

And riviting into the sills wont cause it to rot?

when i stripped my old sport the skirts were held on with tigerseal, and uderneath the skirts was rotting quite bad

wont be putting tigerseal anywhere near my gsi when it comes to the skirts

dick head thats how vauxhall put them on then the shell is painted.... you prat. my motor is concourse. i wouldn't just drill holes in my sill and not treat it.

The same way as vauxhall intended. But imo use a bit of tigerseal just for peace of mind, just dont go too mad with it

sorry about the names but you made me laugh. yes ive seen a gsi with them off and them little nips that stick out of the sill that the plastic clips slide on to are special rivets. there is a vauxhall part number for them. TRUST ME mate
