thing is, it might be 40 quid more. but you will probably get more miles out of them anyway, making it cheaper in the long run.

On the subject of budget tyres, I have what I was told are the cheapest of the cheap on my car.
They were on it when I bought it and I wouldn't personally buy them, but....

I'm not dead yet and i've yet to be caught out with them.
A couple of times it's been in the back of my head not to push too hard round a corner and once coming off a roundabout I couldn't put my foot down in fear of going straight into an oncoming car, bar that they've done the job though.

Certainly changed my opinion ,which was from what I hear on here really as i've never had them before.

Unless you want to drive at 110% everywhere don't just listen to the negative comments.

All depends what car they are on. On your average shopping trolly they would be kind of ok. However my CTR came with budgets and even in the dry they slipped and screeched everywhere and in the wet they were just plain dangorous even with my most sensible hat on.

Me personally I wouldnt touch budgets..............

I've got a 200bhp turbo and I don't think they've screeched once.

mine were runway on the corsa and infinity on the CTR. I wouldn't recomend either of these even to my worst enemy

Mine are still on, they'll likely still be on when I sell the car, i've not had a problem with them.
