when you go to a track day does your car have to be tested to see if its too loud to go onto the track??
and if you turn up on the day and its too loud what could you do? bit of a pointless journey if its doesnt passss, and is it only on certain tracks??
some cars seem really really loud tho and then youll see a small car on the track with a silencer on then?

just wondering, sorry if its abit random.

every track to my knowledge has a db limit

some are more than others

some are tested statically, some are also done on driveby testers

if you turn up and fail, you wont be allowed on, and will loose your £££

The Astra is loud and never had any issues, I think if you have a dirty arse raspy exhaust with no CAT then you will have issues, otherwise it will be fine.

thats because ou have only been on static tests and 3/4 revs max, and we know that isnt when it makes its "proper" noise
