i am looking to spend around £150 to make my car sound good what will be the best solution cheers guys

Perhaps a nice looking backbox if you want to style it a bit, but I wouldn't throw too much cash at tuning that engine.

every filter i put on my car sounds crap, they sound good on my mates car, but sound shit on mine hardly makes a noise, makes the slightest whistle at high revs

Tbh you won't get THAT much of a sound on a 1.2 16v unfortunately. Probably best just drilling the standard airbox and putting in a panel filter as said. Then get a good back box, and if you want more noise, remove the silencer.

cherry bombs i hate have makes ya car sound crap. get a proper back box and a race tube in the centre and drill the air box.

How many people that are on about cherry bombs have actually heard one?
A mate of mine had one on his 1.25 fiesta and its a huge amount quieter than my custom back box (no centre section though).
