My bro is looking for a car but so far it's not going well

He wants:
A reasonable size hatchback (Mk4 Golf is ideal)
Nothing to slow (1.4 / 1.6 is ideal)

His budget:
he needs it quickly and only has a max of £1500 to spend

His info:
He's 20 with 0 ync

So really the ideal car is a mk4 golf 1.6 but they are very hard to find for his budget

Do you have any suggestions?

Polo GTi are group 12 insurance so it may cost quite abit to insure

You wont get a Polo GTI for £1500 either.Not unless its damaged.Badly.

And a Mk4 Golf in 1.4/1.6 form will not be quickish.Infact it will be embarrasingly slow.
A 2.0 non-turbo Mk4 Golf is slow.
