I think he is on the look out for another mini, last time i seen him he was working on another project hes got going (Mr2 with the 360 kit ). He also wanted to put a yamaha R1 engine into a mini. He was going to do it to that, but couldn't bring himself around to do it

Never get that for it. Only the rare classics can command that much ££.

End of the day its just a 1984 mini with a bit work done to it, there are plenty one off minis around with 1380's in them.

But you could say that about any car. It just depends if there's someone out there that wants it - then they're going to get a bargain, I'd imagine it would cost a good bit more than 15k to do all that.

It has cost a lot to get it looking like that. Just got to find the right person who would have it. Preferably someone who isnt on the "aint worth it" bandwagon.

You never get your money back, and trust me Im heavily into the mini scene, there are plenty minis about that are one offs, it really wont get 15k.

Mint original ERA possibly, MK1 pick up possibly.

1984 Austin thats been modded and has a 1300. Nah.

I can post hundreds of similar one offs.

I wasn't suggesting he's looking for his money back, I'd have thought it would have cost more than 15 thou to do.

But I don't know sweet FA about minis so I'll hush for now.

He had it valued by some company (says in the advert) and it came to around £20k, so if he had put it up for that, that would have been stupid.

Its valued by the insurance company, big difference.

If he gets 15k for that im telling about a dozen people to get their minis up for sale

I'd be interested to know how they managed to get the compression ratio up that far by using low compression pistons. I'd also doubt the 117bhp part, at the flywheel, let alone the wheels...

Better getting an older one and making it look like one, they used cheap metal and they rot to fuck.
