Has anyone heard about this recently? I've taken it from THIS website

Man pays parking fine with toilet paper

A man who protested a parking fine by sending his payment in toilet roll has escaped punishment.
63-year-old Richard Roper from Suffolk sent in his £30 fine carefully printed on two sheets of toilet paper after his bank told him it was a perfectly legal way to pay.
"My payment has been written on stationery which aptly reflects my feelings towards the system which I am unfortunately forced to support through my taxes," said Roper, who was forced to sit at the back of court as a resolution to the matter.
He added: "This is not a case of not wishing or refusing to pay but a case of the authorities refusing to accept my payment. What I did here was done in good humour."
Roper conceded that he may now be a "marked man" with traffic wardens, but admitted: "I have several cars so they won't find it easy to target me."
Could be worth investigating if there is some legal loophole that could be taken advantage of here?

Hehe. A man with bullocks to stand up to the system. I like him.

You can pay by cheque without it being a cheque. Pretty sure in the past someone paid money to someone by painting the bank details on th side of a cow
