I've changed my car several times in the last year, someone told me that the DVLA let you change your car up to 6 times in a year without them being too concerned about it.

Probably incase they think people are dealing cars.

Just wondering if anyone has had any problems with the DVLA and changing their cars regularly?

I wouldn't have thought they'd be that bothered.
I got my 7th car of the year early last month and the log book hasn't arrived yet...I just began to wonder...

My brothers mate has about 13 cars one year, he got a few letters from the dvla.

Not sure what about, but something to do with a traders policy, or traders licence... i think.

It shouldn't concern the DVLA, there is no legal maximum to the number of vehicles which you can own. There is a tax implication from buying and selling if you are making profit on them. There may also be some rules about operating as a trader for sale of goods, warranty and fitness for purpose reasons but I'm not clear on that. Certainly I would rather buy from a proper dealer than someone who is clearly buying and selling but not legally obligated to stand by the product as a trader would be.
