i bought some mats from a website for £47.78 which turned out to be faulty (the carpet literally fell apart) and i sent them back and got a full refund.
but i've had to pay the £6 postage to send them back to the company. can i get this refunded also as it's not my fault the product was not fit for purpose?

Normally when it's the company's fault, they will refund postage, but make it extremely difficult i.e. proof of posting, they will only pay out once you have received and are satisfied with the replacement item.
For £6, I probably wouldn't have bothered. Alternatively, you should have just stuck them in the post with no postage on

Bit hard with something of that size Deano, as it has to go through the Post Office rather than a letterbox. Plus company probably be arsey about refund,
