my mate has just last night bought an evo 7, on an 02 plate!!

is fooking lovely motor, but i still want to give him a go in my corsa when its finished...(on the straights)

Mate of mine had a Evo 6 GSR, about 330-340BHP when he'd played with it a tad.

Never been in owt like it before lol, proper CHUCKED you back into your seat, was so mad off the mark, even in the wet. Up Buxton roads it was crazy what its capable of.

However it was so fast he did a month in prison for it and a years ban, not good. lol

Looks wise (& thats usually what id base a car purchase on - though you might not be able to tell from my track record ) Id prefer an Evo 8 MR....grated it would cost twice as much.

Evo 5 & 6 are now at a value where its a heck of a lot of car for the money, though, maybe not all good however as this will open the purchase of them wide open to every chav & his cousin barry mcmental too...much the way classic scoobies went - its all the absolute roasters that own them now & you wouldnt be seen dead in one with exception of a good one - 22B etc.

Liking that. I like the 5's and 6's. I prefer the chunkier meaner look compared to the sleeker 7> model's.

Prefer the 5 and 6 myself plus you get better specs for the same money
