Its the wires breaking from opening the door.

As the drivers door will be opened more than the passenger, you'l find that the drivers door speaker will be first to start crackling. Its easily fixed by runninig new wires, or as said, re-cover any bare / exposed wire.

Not a hard job at all.

Vauxhall wiring is great.. Common use of clear colour coding, decent bosch/siemens connectors, good quality cables.. what you bitching about?

Disconnect the door loom and give the connector a squirt with some contact cleaner, if that dont help I'll bet the speaker cone wires have discintigrated.

This is because the hazzard lights must work at all times (even with the ignition off) so if you turn i tupside down it shorts the permenant +12v feed to the illumination feed (which is ignition +12v) and thus your dash lights up..

Considering just about every Corsa B has a transponder imoboliser no one is going to nick it.
