Im 20, 4 yrs NCB, with 20F second driver for my 2.0DTi its £540, B/C rated postcode kept on public road
So £500 for you isnt brill!
(Norwich Union btw, been cheapest for the last 3 years for me)

Have you tried Lloyds TSB Chris?
£350 fully comp, 25,000 per year, think i've 7 years no claims - not sure on my 1.6 307. I'm a Liverpool 6 postcode too. Not sure is using other cars knocks it down or not though as i have insurance on both parents cars and work. Don't know if insurance check.
Edit: i have a clean license.
