it still will wear as long as there is sulphur in the fuel, but now possibly the car will rot before the engine since sulphur in fuel now is so low.

looks a nice car, love e36 tourings quite rare and look good subtly modded,

You wouldnt buy a car that had a smokey turbo would you? thats the best way i can put a nikasil block with over 100k on it, not many see much over 100k not sayin yours wont sand eel.

No but not all Nikasil blocks are garaunteed to go around 100k.As said before,my old mans is on around 130k and still going strong.Dosnt use a drop of oil or water.
Sign up to e36coupe.com and ask how many owners are still on the original Nikasil block and you'll be surprised.
All im saying is buyers shouldnt be put you off if it runs sweet.

thats why i bought mine TBH, i knew it was in the nikosil year but still runs perfect, so got it.
