205 yeh, but dont reckon 500 quid will get you one road worthy, maybe needing a bit of work to MOT and will most likely be a 1.6.

Oh and dont be getting a good one, i will be sad because i want one . Thinking about geting rid of my 05 MG ZS and going for another old car again. Can say that a mk2 golf gti are superb to drive (got one in the garage 8v) so when i look ill be looking for a mk2 16v and a pug 205 1.9 and maybe xr2 fezz but dont think they will be fast enough for me.

Don't forget Wrighty, if it's a track car you can get one without Tax/MOT so will be much cheaper than one you would normally look for.

Depends on what degree of road worthy he means, a road worthy car in my eyes would have MOT on it . Doesnt seem to be many cheap 205s out there, cheap as in cheap cheap. Doesnt actually seem to be many 205s at all, well nowhere near me.

Want it road worth so I can drive it to track days. Dont mind doing a bit of work on it really. Seen a few 205's with the mi16 in them. Could have had one for £900.
