When do the aussy's have there motorsport season? Does it run like ours (march-ish to oct-ish)? Or through there summer? (oct-march)

final of v8 supercars in Sydney on 5th of dec I believe.
Aussie Car mags crack me up. Every car is a holden or ford and nothing less than a v8 is featured.
My current hire car is a 4.1 litre that does 12 litre / 100km - SHOCKING!

although saying that... I'm impressed with how technical aussie car mags are. They don't beat around the bush when explaining how the mechanical elements on a new model work... none of this top gear / max power style of explaining technical things.
