ive been offered an absoloutely mint rs1600i, in charcoal black, 90k miles, 1 owner from new original bill of sale ffsh. absoloutely immaculate and standard. dry stored in a heated garage its when its not on the road.
what sort of price would you expect to pay for that? and would you buy it?

100% check it out as the old fords do like to rot, but if its alrite underneath then 2k is a steal!!
id personally say its worth around the 3/3.5k mark..
check the battery tray, sills, have a look underneath for holes in the floor pans, check boot area underneath the boot carpet etc..

no rot at all chassis legs are like new its been looked after, like i said hes had it from new and in his lock up which is heated.

only problem is, to make sure it keeps appricating, you need to look after it in the same way

yeah ive got a garage where i live.

if its going in a garage then thats good, like i said i wouldnt leave it outside or nothing to get water all in it..
erm half decent alarm would be nice i guess yer, i mean its not concourse so not that much worry about it i guess, but still enough..
undersealing is kool but make sure you do a good job and i wouldnt just leave it black, id clean it, underseal it and colour code it to the car, cant stand when its just black underneath, colourcoded will make it look alot cleaner, also get new parts underneath and clean it all up
